Good to know

For best results, start with a simple, high-contrast logo at least 512×512 pixels; fine text tends to disappear at 16×16. If your site already has a favicon and you want to refresh it, just generate a new set and replace the old PNG files, browsers will pick up the new icons on the next visit.
